§ 8-2.3. Yield Right-of-Way Intersections.
The Public Works Director is hereby authorized to designate yield intersections for intersections of public streets and highways within the City. Designation of yield intersection shall be based on warrant systems established by the State of California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices and/or locally established transportation standards tailored to address the unique transportation circumstances of the City of Alameda. Yield signs shall be ordered erected and maintained by the Public Works Director. Records of the locations and yielded movements shall be maintained in the Public Works Department.
