§ 8-8.7. Taxicab Stands.

The Public Works Director is hereby authorized to establish taxicab stands along any street or portion thereof. The Public Works Director shall cause to be installed and maintained signage on white curb markings designating these locations and hours of operations. It shall be illegal for any person to stop, park or leave standing a vehicle whether attended or unattended except when necessary to avoid conflict with traffic or the direction of a police officer unless that vehicle is registered to a taxicab company licensed by the City.
