§ 10-4.4. Daily Operations.

  • Every person holding a permit under the provisions of this chapter relative to public motor vehicles shall regularly and daily operate his or its licensed public motor vehicle business during each day of the license year to the extent reasonably necessary to meet the public demand for such service. Upon the abandonment of such public motor vehicle service for a period of ten (10) consecutive days by an owner, the Chief of Police may conduct a hearing upon five (5) days notice to the holder of the permit, and unless good and sufficient cause for such abandonment is evidenced, revoke the permit granted under the terms of this chapter.
