§ 19-2.2. Construction or Maintenance of Wires in Waterfront Zone; Permit.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to construct, maintain, place or lay upon, in, over, under or across any land within the waterfront zone whether the land is dry, salt, marsh, tide, or submerged, any wires, cables, pipes or conduits for the transmission of electric energy or current for light, heat or power purposes, without first obtaining from the City Council the permit herein provided for.

    Permits for the purposes aforesaid may be granted by the Council, in its discretion, on the recommendation of the Board of Public Utilities Commissioners.
