§ 18-3.5. Costs for Constructing Sewers.

The following fees are hereby fixed and established for the work of constructing and completing all house connecting sewers between the street sewer and the property line.

a.

An amount equal to the actual cost for the work of constructing and completing all house connecting sewers between the street sewer and the property line. The amount shall be set by City Council Resolution.

b.

At the time the application referred to in Section 6-22 is made, the Street Superintendent shall make an estimate of the probable expense of said work and the applicant shall thereupon deposit as the fee with said Superintendent a sum of money equal to the said estimate, for the purpose of covering the cost of said estimate, and for the purpose of covering the cost of said connecting sewer installation. After said work is completed any difference remaining between the actual cost of the work as completed and the said deposit shall be refunded to the applicant. The fee shall be set by City Council Resolution.

c.

Actual cost of said work shall be deemed to include overhead charged.
