§ 24-8.3. Application of This Section.

Every boarding home for aged persons established prior to the adoption of this section,* and which does not conform to the provisions of this section, may continue to be operated and maintained until either the use of such boarding home is discontinued or abandoned for any reason whatever, or there occurs a change of ownership or transfer of any interest therein. Upon the happening of any of the aforementioned events the provisions of this section shall thereafter be applicable.
