§ 8-13.1. Character of Signs, Signals and Markings; Duty of Public Works Director.

  • All signs, signals, guide posts, markers, curb marking or other traffic control signaling devices for the regulation and control of traffic on public streets and highways within the City, and required to be erected and maintained by or pursuant to the Vehicle Code of the State of California or any ordinance or resolution of the City, shall conform in all particulars, with the requirements of such Vehicle Code when applicable, otherwise, with the requirements of such ordinance or resolution, and, unless otherwise specifically provided, shall be erected and maintained, or caused to be erected and maintained by the Public Works Director.
