§ 8-28.5. Resolution Ordering Erection; Form; Service of Copy; Location and Structure of Shelter.

Whenever the City Council shall order such a shed or structure to be erected or provided at any such regular stations or stopping places not having the same, the order shall be made in the form of a resolution specifying the location of such station or stopping place and directing that such a shed or other suitable structure be erected or otherwise provided within thirty (30) days from the date of the order. A certified copy of the order shall thereupon be delivered to the person or railroad company to which the same is directed. The shed or structure to be provided in all cases shall have a frontage upon the street or highway over which the trains are being operated and shall be situated within one hundred (100′) feet of such station or stopping place. It shall conform substantially in design and structure to other sheds or structure theretofore erected in the City for such purpose.
